Because I am human I get frustrated. I get frustrated when things don’t go my way. I get frustrated when traffic is more than usual. But one of the things that frustrates me the most is when people conveniently twist things to suit their own end. Looking out for number one isn’t a new phenomenon but that should not be the norm. That should be the exception. The norm should be helping one another. Working together. Building each other up. Looking after one another. But even in my frustration, I know that God is still in control and in the end He will bring justice to the injustices of the world.
You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow’s garment as a pledge. (Deuteronomy 24:17 NKJV)
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face. (Psalm 89:14 AMPC)
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. (Psalm 45:6 NIV)
Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead. (Acts 17:31 AMPC)
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord. (Psalm 33:5 AMPC)
