You are our written epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
This scripture was referenced on the wall at a writer’s conference I recently attended. It was meant to inspire us as we sat in different workshops and it did but it also got me thinking. What kind of message are we sending to the world? Are we showing the grace & mercy that God has shown us while still speaking the truth in love? Are our actions reflective of what we believe? It’s been said that sometimes we are the only bibles someone might read. If that’s the case what story are we telling? What story are you telling?
